1. What is YOUR REWARDS?

    YOUR REWARDS is the name of our credit card loyalty program. Customers may earn a variety of benefits, including a $20 Rewards Card for every $200 spent. (See details on the Rewards Cards offer in Question 22.)

    Please note: Subject to credit approval. The YOUR REWARDS program is provided by Bon-Ton Stores, Inc., and its terms may change at any time.

  2. How do I enroll in the YOUR REWARDS program?

    No enrollment is needed. As long as you are using a valid YOUR REWARDS, Bon-Ton, Bergner's, Boston Store, Carson's, Elder-Beerman, Herberger's or Younkers credit card on purchases made in our department stores, online, or through our Shopping Service, you are automatically enrolled.

  3. How do I get a YOUR REWARDS credit card?

    Applying is easy! You can apply for a YOUR REWARDS credit card by visiting any of our store locations. See a sales associate for details.

  4. What are the different membership levels of the YOUR REWARDS program?

    There are two membership levels: Signature and Elite.

  5. What is the difference between Signature and Elite membership?

    New credit card accounts are opened as Signature membership. Once you spend $1,000 in net credit card purchases in a calendar year, you achieve an Elite membership. Only accounts in good standing will be upgraded. Elite members will receive additional perks, including birthday month savings and Elite Extras.

  6. What are Elite Extras?

    This is a booklet containing monthly coupons and free shipping offers. It is mailed to our current Elite Members who have purchased within the last 12 months.

  7. What is the Elite free shipping offer?

    Elite members receiving the Elite Extras booklet will receive an offer for free standard shipping once per month. It is redeemable only on online purchases of $25 or more, made with a YOUR REWARDS credit card. Subject to credit approval. Excludes furniture and mattresses. All additional fees are the responsibility of the cardholder. Surcharges may apply. The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc., associates and retirees are not eligible.

  8. What happens if I do not maintain annual spending at my current level?

    Accounts will be evaluated at the end of the program year and will be placed in the appropriate membership level (Signature or Elite), based on your total annual net purchases.

  9. What is a YOUR REWARDS credit card?

    Our store credit card is called the YOUR REWARDS credit card.

  10. Where can I use my YOUR REWARDS credit card?

    Use a YOUR REWARDS credit card at all Bon-Ton, Bergner's, Boston Store, Carson's, Elder-Beerman, Herberger's and Younkers department stores and furniture galleries, shopping services or any of our store websites.

  11. Will I receive a new YOUR REWARDS credit card when I achieve Elite membership?

    Yes. A new credit card is issued when you reach Elite membership.

  12. What are Rewards Cards, and how do I earn them?

    Rewards Cards are exclusive to YOUR REWARDS members. For every $200 you spend throughout the year, we will send a Rewards Card. Unused Rewards totals carry over, month to month* so you can earn Rewards Cards at your own pace. Once a month, we'll mail any Rewards Cards you earned during the previous month. *Within a calendar year.

  13. What if I spend less than $200 in a month?

    Unused rewards totals roll over. Months under $200 will add to your total, combining with past or future purchases to help earn Rewards Cards.

  14. How can I double my rewards ("Double It")?

    We'll double the next Rewards Cards you earn, if you do one or more of the following:

    • 1) Shop both in store and online in a calendar month, OR
    • 2) Shop in a featured department plus any other department in a calendar month.

    Periodically, we'll offer other ways to double your Rewards Cards.

  15. What is a "Featured Department"?

    Throughout the year, we will offer the opportunity to double your rewards by shopping in a "Featured Department" plus any other department in a given month. This can be a small category (sandals, for example) or an entire division (all men's apparel). Watch for updates on our website, your monthly statement, and in special mailings.

  16. How do returns affect my rewards total?

    If you return merchandise that contributed to your rewards total, you will be refunded the net/return value of the merchandise in the form of your original payment, and the value of returned merchandise is removed from your rewards total.

  17. How does it work if I return merchandise purchased with a Rewards Card?

    If you redeem a Rewards Card on a purchase and then return that purchase, you will be refunded the net/return value of the merchandise in the amount and form of your original payment. You may call customer service at 1-800-945-4438 to receive a replacement Rewards Card.

  18. Are any departments, merchandise or services excluded from earning Rewards Cards?

    No. Merchandise and service purchases made in all departments count toward your rewards total.

  19. Can Rewards Cards be earned on online purchases?

    Yes, online purchases made with a YOUR REWARDS credit card will count toward your reward total. These purchases will be added to your rewards total once the purchase is charged to a YOUR REWARDS credit card.

  20. Can I earn Rewards Cards with purchases made with cash, gift cards or other charge cards?

    No. Rewards Cards are earned only on purchases made with a YOUR REWARDS credit card. If you split the payment between multiple forms of payment, only the portion on a YOUR REWARDS credit card counts towards your rewards total.

  21. Where can I find information on my rewards total?

    Your rewards total will be displayed on your monthly billing statement. You may also call Customer Care at 1-855-567-7738 or 1-800-695-1788 (as listed on your billing statement or on the back of a YOUR REWARDS credit card) to find out your current status. You may also check online, at the site listed on the back of your card. You may also click here to access that information online.

  22. How will I receive my Rewards Cards?

    Rewards Cards will be mailed to qualifying members once a month.

  23. What is the discount amount on Rewards Cards?

    Rewards Cards can be redeemed on a regular or sale price purchase of $50 or more when you use a YOUR REWARDS credit card. Save either $20 on apparel, fine jewelry, accessories and shoes, OR for $10 on fragrance, cosmetics, small electrics, Health & Wellness, toys, coffee, candy, food, fashion watches and Tech Trek. The best discount will be applied to eligible merchandise. Rewards Card redemption is subject to credit approval. Some exclusions apply; see question 28 for details.

  24. How do I "stack" my Rewards Cards on a single transaction?

    You can combine your Rewards Cards on larger purchases, provided that the total minimum purchase of $50 is met. For example, on a purchase of $100 or more, you can use two Rewards Cards and save $40 on qualifying items; on a purchase of $150 or more, you can use three Rewards Cards and save $60 on qualifying items.

  25. Is there a limit to the number of Rewards Cards I can receive?

    No. There is no limit to the number of Rewards Cards you may earn.

  26. Can Rewards Cards be redeemed online?

    Yes. Just enter the 11-character code below the barcode on the back of the Rewards Card at the time of checkout in the Promotion Code field. However each card can only be used one time; once it is used (whether in store or online), it cannot be used again.

  27. Can Rewards Cards be combined with other offers?

    Rewards Cards may not be used in conjunction with coupons or "use card" discount offers; however, they may be combined ("stacked") with other Rewards Cards, provided that the total minimum purchase of $50 per Rewards Card is met.

  28. Are Rewards Cards subject to any exclusions?

    Rewards cards can be used on almost all merchandise purchases, but there are a few exclusions. They are: Incredible Value and Yellow Dot/Black Dot merchandise, service departments, Clearance Center merchandise, special orders, gift cards, online Coach purchases and Tempur-Pedic.

  29. How long are Rewards Cards valid?

    Rewards Cards are valid for approximately 45 days. The expiration date is printed on the card. However, each card is valid for only a single purchase during that time, and expires upon use.

  30. What is the mobile virtual card?

    The mobile virtual card allows cardholders to make purchases with a virtual YOUR REWARDS credit card that is hosted within the Bon-Ton mobile app. Cardholders can also access billing statements, make payments, and view their credit line and dollars spent on the card.

  31. How do I access my account with The Bon-Ton Stores mobile app?

    If you have signed up for an account online and have a user name and password set up, you can access your account profile through the app. Once the app has been downloaded to your phone, sign in under the "Secure Credit Card Log In" tab using your online Account Center user ID and password.

    Not registered for the Account Center? You can register via the mobile app or using the Account Center links below; simply click your preferred store.

  32. Is the mobile virtual card secure?

    The mobile virtual card and account center is equipped with several security features including:

    1. Automatic log-out after 15 minutes of inactivity
    2. Credentials required prior to each use of the mobile virtual card (username and password)
    3. Multi-Factor Authentication provides an enhanced method for helping ensure that it's really you accessing your account. If we don't recognize the device from which you're logging in, we'll verify your identity by sending you an identification code. You will need to enter this code to login to Account Center.

  33. If I don't currently have The Bon-Ton Stores mobile app, how do I download it to my smartphone or tablet?

  34. If I already have The Bon-Ton Stores mobile app on my smartphone or tablet, do I need to update the app in order to access my virtual credit card?

    Yes, the Bon-Ton mobile app will need to be up-to-date in order for you to access your mobile virtual card.

    For Android users:

    1. Open the Google Play Store app.
    2. Tap the Play Store icon > My Apps to view your downloaded apps. Apps with available updates are labeled "Update."
    3. Select the Bon-Ton app and touch “Update.”

    For iPhone users:

    1. Open the iTunes app store.
    2. Tap the Updates icon at the bottom of the screen
    3. If an app needs updating, it appears with an Update button next to it. Tap the button to update the app.
  35. How does the Virtual YOUR REWARDS credit card protect my account?

    Since your privacy and security are important to us, we take the following measures to ensure your information remains protected:

    • Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology prevents any third party from intercepting the data passed between your computer and our system.
    • Multi-Factor Authentication provides an enhanced method for helping ensure that it's really you accessing your account. If we don't recognize your device which you're logging in, we'll verify your identify by sending you an identification code. You will need to enter this code to login to the Virtual YOUR REWARDS credit card.
  36. What if my phone is lost or stolen?

    Keeping your account secure is important to us. If your phone is lost or stolen, please contact us immediately and we will cancel your access and un-enroll you from the Virtual YOUR REWARDS credit card. Customer Service hours are Monday-Saturday 8AM-9PM ET.

  37. What if my session times out before I make a purchase?

    For your security, your session will time out after 15 minutes of inactivity. To make a purchase, log back into your Virtual YOUR REWARDS credit card to display your account number.

  38. Will my Virtual YOUR REWARDS credit card session time out?

    For your security, your session will time out after 15 minutes of inactivity.

  39. Can I put my picture on my Virtual YOUR REWARDS credit card?

    Yes. In fact, we recommend that you do for increased security; however, it is not a requirement.

  40. Will Store Associates ever need to handle my smartphone for me to buy something with your Virtual YOUR REWARDS credit card?

    Store Associates may need to handle your phone in order to verify the authenticity of your app. This is for security reasons.

  41. My phone is connected to a WiFi network, so why does my mobile virtual card say it is in "Offline Mode?"

    Sometimes you can be connected to a WiFi network that still requires you to accept terms at a website before you are granted access to the Internet. In this case, your phone thinks it is connected to the Internet, however in reality, it is caught in what is known as a captive portal — it is neither connected to your phone's cellular network nor is it able to access the Internet via the WiFi connection. The mobile virtual card will still work in this scenario, however it will be in offline mode and you will only have access to your card and none of your other account information. To get back into "online mode" either accept the terms at the WiFi network webpage or turn off WiFi altogether and use your phone's cellular network for connectivity.
